Mobile Detailing in Briarcliff

Lake days end in the driveway.

Briarcliff has its own boat ramp and marina on Lake Travis, so trucks come home with mineral spray on the lower panels and wet life jackets and towels on the seats.

Briarcliff is an incorporated village on the south shore of Lake Travis, on FM 2322 off Highway 71. It was developed as a resort in the 1960s around summer homes, water sports and a club; its nine-hole golf course, built in 1968 as the Briarcliff Yacht and Golf Club, was bought by Willie Nelson in 1979. Briarcliff Marina opened in 1969 in Cat Hollow. The Village owns the roads and water system, the property owners association runs the nature trails, disc golf course, shaded park, community centre and dog park, and Lake Travis ISD serves the schools. Hillside homes range from early lake houses to new construction.

Lake life decides what happens to the cars here. Trucks that launch boats come home with lake water sprayed along the lower panels and over the hitch, and it dries into chalky mineral marks. Wet life jackets, towels and coolers soak seats and carpets on the ride back up the hill. Between lake days, the hillside streets and cedar-covered lots add pollen and dust, and golf carts collect their own share of grass and grime. Detailing a tow vehicle in Briarcliff is really two jobs: clearing mineral spots and grime off the outside, then drying out and freshening the inside.
