TRZ started with boats at Lake Travis and turned into a mobile detailing business because the thing people actually wanted was not a better shop — it was not having to go to one. Everything happens in your driveway while you get on with your day.
Gage is a UT Austin graduate in Communications & Entrepreneurship, has been detailing for five years, and is the official detailer of Barton Creek Country Club. He does the work himself. That is the whole business model, and it is the reason the result does not vary by which day you book — there is no rotating crew and no subcontractor.
Prices are published by vehicle size rather than quoted, because you should be able to find out what something costs without talking to anyone first. What you see on the pricing page is what you pay at checkout.
De-ionized water
Central Texas tap water is hard. A wash that dries in the sun leaves mineral spotting behind, and spotting left through a summer starts to etch clear coat. We rinse with de-ionized water so there is nothing left to dry in — which matters most on dark paint in July.
A self-contained rig
Our own water tank, generator, extractor and steam equipment. Nothing gets hooked up to your house, so a garage deck downtown, an apartment space, an office lot or an acre lot with no tap in reach all work the same way.

Gage details your car himself, and TRZ carries $1M per occurrence, $2M aggregate and $25,000 garage keepers. HOAs and buildings that want a certificate on file can have one the same day.

Hours: open seven days, 8:00am to 6:00pm, by appointment. Last start is usually mid-afternoon so the car finishes in daylight.
Cancellations: free more than 24 hours ahead. Inside that window, or a no-show, is a $50 fee — the slot and the drive time were held for you. Weather and emergencies are never charged. Full policy.

Do you need my water or power?
No. We bring our own de-ionized water and our own generator. All we need is room to work around the vehicle.
How do I pay?
Through Square. Standard details take no deposit; a larger job like a ceramic coating may take a small one to hold the slot, because it takes most of a day.
