TRZ Shine & Detail (“TRZ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides mobile auto detailing services in the Austin, Texas area, including Barton Creek Country Club. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our booking site or our services, you agree to this policy.
We collect only what we need to schedule and provide your detailing service:
Our website offers a discount on your first detail in exchange for your mobile number. If you take it, we keep that number on our own list and may text you about open appointment slots and seasonal specials. When you submit it we record the consent wording you were shown and when. That is the whole of it: we do not sell, rent, or trade your number, and we do not add you to anyone else’s list. Consent is never a condition of booking a service.
Reply STOP to any text to leave the list, or HELP for help; you can also email gage@trzdetail.com and ask to be removed. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply.
If you signed up with an email address before September 2026, we keep it on the same terms: we never sell it, you can ask to be removed at any time, and we may use it in hashed (scrambled) form to build an advertising audience with Google, for matching only.
If you provide your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages from TRZ Shine & Detail related to your service — including booking confirmations, appointment reminders, “job started” and “job complete” updates, and occasional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any service.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in consent with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing purposes. Mobile information collected for text messaging is used only by TRZ Shine & Detail to communicate with you about your service.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business — for example, our scheduling and messaging tools and our payment processor — and only so they can perform those services for us. As stated above, mobile opt-in and phone number data is never shared for third-party marketing. We may disclose information if required by law.
Our websites use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our pages — for example, which services get viewed and how many people start a booking. This uses cookies and collects standard technical information such as your approximate location (city level), device type, browser, and the pages you visit. We use it only in aggregate to improve the site; we do not use it to identify individual visitors, and we have not enabled advertising personalization or Google Signals. We also do not share this data with Google for its own product improvement or advertising purposes. You can opt out for all sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser — the site works normally either way. Booking and text-message data described above is handled separately and is never sent to Google.
Our website also sets one small cookie of its own, named trz_offer, when you close or accept the discount offer. Its only job is to remember that you have already seen it so we do not show it to you again — it holds no personal information and is not used for advertising. Clearing your cookies simply means the offer may appear once more.
When you first visit, a notice tells you we use analytics cookies. Tap Decline and Google Analytics stops setting cookies and any it already set are removed. Your answer is saved in a cookie named trz_consent for one year so we don’t ask again. Change your cookie choice.
Some pages have a checker that tells you whether we come to your area. If you tap “Use my location,” your browser asks your permission first, and the location it returns is used only on your own device to find the nearest area we serve — it is never sent to us, stored, or shared. Typing a neighbourhood or ZIP code works the same way. The only thing recorded is an anonymous analytics event noting that a check was made and which of our service areas it matched — never your address or exact location.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information and keep it only as long as needed to provide our services and meet our records and legal obligations.
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective” date above shows when it was last changed.
