TRZ Shine & Detail (“TRZ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides mobile auto detailing services in the Austin, Texas area, including Barton Creek Country Club. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our booking site or our services, you agree to this policy.
We collect only what we need to schedule and provide your detailing service:
Our website offers a discount on your first detail in exchange for your email address. If you take it, we add that address to our own mailing list and use it to send you the offer code, occasional notice of open appointment slots, and seasonal specials. That is the whole of it: we do not sell, rent, or trade your email address, and we do not add you to anyone else’s list.
You can leave the list at any time by emailing gage@trzdetail.com and asking to be removed, or by using the unsubscribe link in any message we send. Signing up for the offer does not sign you up for text messages, and it is never a condition of booking a service.
We may also use your email address to build an advertising audience with Google — for example, so that we can show ads to people already on our list, or avoid showing ads to existing customers. Google receives your address in a hashed (scrambled) form for matching only. If you would rather we did not do this, email us and we will remove you.
If you provide your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages from TRZ Shine & Detail related to your service — including booking confirmations, appointment reminders, “job started” and “job complete” updates, and occasional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any service.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in consent with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing purposes. Mobile information collected for text messaging is used only by TRZ Shine & Detail to communicate with you about your service.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business — for example, our scheduling and messaging tools and our payment processor — and only so they can perform those services for us. As stated above, mobile opt-in and phone number data is never shared for third-party marketing. We may disclose information if required by law.
Our websites use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our pages — for example, which services get viewed and how many people start a booking. This uses cookies and collects standard technical information such as your approximate location (city level), device type, browser, and the pages you visit. We use it only in aggregate to improve the site; we do not use it to identify individual visitors, and we have not enabled advertising personalization or Google Signals. We also do not share this data with Google for its own product improvement or advertising purposes. You can opt out for all sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser — the site works normally either way. Booking and text-message data described above is handled separately and is never sent to Google.
Our website also sets one small cookie of its own, named trz_offer, when you close or accept the discount offer. Its only job is to remember that you have already seen it so we do not show it to you again — it holds no personal information and is not used for advertising. Clearing your cookies simply means the offer may appear once more.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information and keep it only as long as needed to provide our services and meet our records and legal obligations.
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective” date above shows when it was last changed.
