Majestic Oaks went up in Steiner Ranch's first phases, so its trees have had decades to grow over driveways and kerbs, and cars parked outside collect pollen, sap and leaf litter.

Majestic Oaks is one of the earlier sections of Steiner Ranch, off N. Quinlan Park Road, with homes from the late 1990s and early 2000s, when the ranch was in its first building phases. It sits near the Majestic Oaks playground and the greenbelt trails that thread through the community, with Bella Mar and River Ridge next door. Steiner Ranch Elementary is at the north end of the ranch, where N. Quinlan Park Road meets Steiner Ranch Boulevard, and the section is in Leander ISD. Like the rest of the ranch it is built on hills between Lake Austin and Lake Travis, with curving streets and greenbelt edges.

Twenty-five years is long enough for trees to spread out over driveways and kerbs, and that shapes what happens to cars here. The oaks shed pollen in spring and leaves through the year, and sap and bird droppings land on whatever is parked underneath. Leaf litter collects in the cowl below the windshield and in the door and trunk channels, where it holds moisture and can block drains. Headlights on cars that have lived outside that long often turn cloudy too. Detailing a car from an older section is mostly about what the trees leave behind: clearing the channels, lifting sap and washing pollen off safely.
