Cat Mountain rises near Loop 360 in 78731, bounded by RM 2222 on the south and east, Cat Mountain Drive to the north and Mesa Drive to the west. Developed from the 1970s onward, it's a neighbourhood of steep streets, cul-de-sacs and terraced lots, with homes designed around big windows, decks and balconies. Further down the slopes, the trees give shade but drop sap and pollen. Usually, if the car can be parked safely with the brake set and there's room to walk around it. On very steep drives, a flatter spot by the garage or at the street is safer for the car and the work. An outdoor spigot and a standard outlet need to be in reach.
What does a ceramic coating actually do for a car parked in the Cat Mountain sun?
